Job Description
Our client is planning to establish a nexus in Shanghai, China in order to facilitate the realization of their ambition in the Asia region. You will be designated to set-up, manage and lead this tax department. You will report to the Director Corporate Fiscal Affairs. A comprehensive and intensive orientation program will take place in The Netherlands prior to relocating to Shanghai.
Major Tasks and responsibilities:
- Indentify and analyze impact of new tax law developments
- Supervise local tax audits
- Build an expert centre to support businesses in all taxation issues
- Monitor and identify pro-actively potential tax issues and opportunities.
Job Requirements
- University degree in tax law or economics with proficiency in English
- Preferably around 10 years of experience on expert level of international taxes, working experience in Asia is an advantage·
- Enjoy working with different cultures and is ready to relocate to Shanghai·
- Business oriented with strong communication skills and analytical skills.
- An excellent team player and inspirational leader.
- Persistent on principles but practical in finding solutions and is result-driven.
