Functieomschrijving Junior Business Controller

The Junior Business Controller will, through professional expertise and leveraging of best practices, be responsible for the support and implementation of the regional business practices into the local markets. The support of the local markets includes periodic market visits to perform business reviews and ad-hoc analysis.

Your tasks as a Junior Business Controller will amongst other consist of

• Work with market responsible on setting sales and KPI targets for the markets and help them to achieve plans by monitoring and analyzing developments.
• Support seasonal business plans and provide direction advice based on analysis and dialogues with both market responsible and regional support functions.
• Report on the health of the business and facilitate smart business decisions, communicate financial results, forecasts, and action plans to the market responsible and the regional cross functional teams on regular basis.
• Undertake initiatives to improve and develop the existing analysis and reporting toolbox
• Ensure compliance with the overall standard working practices within the markets and the regional support teams.

Functiecriteria Junior Business Controller

For this position we are looking for a person who is ready for a challenge.

• You have a relevant bachelor degree and at least 2 years experience in a similar position, preferably within an international retail organisation.
• You are a team player,
• you work accurately and pro-active.
• Your communication skills in English are excellent, written and spoken. Knowledge of other European languages would be a distinct advantage.
• Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage.
