Functieomschrijving Junior Business Controller Sales

The Junior Business Controller Sales will lead discussions related to sales planning and business opportunities. You give insight in the accounts and monitor the current situation versus the sales forecasts.

The Junior Business Controller Sales:

• Assists in drive the Planning & Analyses process. Ensure margins and selling costs meet financial targets.
• Supports and assist in the preparation of the weekly sales, margin and the ROP (revised operating plan) annual business plan, including analyses versus budget and forecast with supporting analyses by brand, channel, and account.
• Review and analyse returns and allowances.
• Works with key operational functions to analyze costs savings opportunities, develop project plan and monitor progress and results.
• Assists with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
• Coordinates the capital expenditure approval process and monitors spending against approved budgets.
• Together with the Assistant Controllers produce the shipped & open report (including backlog) and ensures that all standard information is validated and up to date, reports on variance against previous period, analyses impact for forecast reporting and sends to US after validation by controllers.
• Run weekly stock report (inventory) to analyze and validate aging and quality of the stock.
• BI reporting (data warehouse).
• Perform various ad-hoc analyses and reports as required to support divisional objectives

Functiecriteria Junior Business Controller Sales

The Junior Business Controller Sales has the following requirements:

• Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of related experience (planning, buying, analysis) OR:
  Master degree (MBA, Finance etc) with affinity with the retail branche, sales, control
• Solid financial and analytical skills;
• Background as a Buyer/Planner for a major retail company preferred;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to establish and build positive working relationships at various levels;
• Working knowledge of SOX;
• Experience with SAP, BI, MS Access software are a plus.
